Course Description

This course is an introduction course to Research Writing. It is not so much about writing a research paper per se as it is about teaching you what research writing is and how it should be formulated. To do so, you will be introduced to the scientific approach and alternative approaches to investigation, learn to define and redefine problems, gain a theoretical framework to develop a hypothesis, have discussions on experimental designs, measuring variables and data analysis both for quantitive and qualitative research studies. 

Although you will not be assigned to write a research paper taking into account the scope of this course, you will still learn how to write introductions, methodologies and results for a research report.
